I dedicate this
page to my Ocean Tribe. Surfers, Divers, Swimmers, & Wave Riders.
And to the Native American blood in which I am from the Iroquois. The oceans once covered the entire world , they have
been here since the beginning of creation and carry great medicine.
I am asking you my fellow friends and wave riders to
pay attention to what is happening!
I have surfed with dolphins, gone swimming with a manatee,
watched sea turtles bearing life, and have even held sharks in my hands.

The
oceans of this world are fading away, due to the cruelty and ignorance of man kind and no other. The eco system
in the ocean is vital to life on the land and in the sea.
The circle of life must not be broken or all will surely be lost!

I love mother nature, and the ocean is in my spirit. I
have great respect for the ocean, and for the beauty and mystery she possess! I am asking you to hold the ocean
dear to your heart. She gives life, takes life, bears food, bathes you, heals wounds, and even miraculously
eliviates stress and depression.

The next
time you go to the beach, before you hit the waves please stop and observe what goes on around you.
Watch people throwing food to the birds, the birds fetch and they eat
it. Through the association of watching people put food in the mouths, the birds also see people throw fiber glass
cigarette buts after putting them to there mouths, and the birds eat those too and most die.
Observe or even imagine a small child crying from stepping on broken
glass or sharp objects that were left behind because someone didn't feel the need to carry it off the beach
to a trash receptacle.
Look at a beautiful
bird maimed with fish hooks and/or fishing line its bill or it's wings, rendering it helpless.
See a baby shark, dolphin, sea turtle or any marine life washed
up on the beach dead with a plastic grocery bag in its mouth, in which suffocated it's very existence.

My friends this saddens my heart when I see theses things. It starts with one person caring enough to do something about it, and every one person does make that difference.
I ask you, if you see trash on the beach pick it up. Take more off the beach than you brought with you.
We can make the difference if we all care and we do our part as a whole.
Keep our beaches clean for our future
and for the generations to come.
